1. Privacy Policy

At QuickScribe, our guiding principle is to collect only what we need.

A. Information Collection

When you register, we ask for identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number. This is used to provide essential product functionality and to send you vital updates.

B. Cookies

We use first-party persistent cookies and some third-party cookies to store certain preferences and make it easier for you to use our applications.

C. Data Retention and Deletion

We may maintain your content as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, access is blocked immediately. Given database backups, your account information will be permanently deleted from our systems within 90 days.

2. Terms of Service

A. Account terms

• You are responsible for keeping your account secure. The company is not liable for any damage resulting from a failure to meet this security obligation.
• You may not use the services for any unlawful, unethical, or immoral purpose.
• You must be a human being. Accounts registered by "bots" are not permitted.
• The account and subscription are personal. Each account is for a single user. You may not share login details with others, transfer the account to another person, or resell, offer, or provide the service to third parties, including through automation or access the company has not approved.
• Suspension and closure. The company may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, including account sharing or misuse of the service, without a refund, subject to applicable law.

B. Plans and payments

• Free plan: A registered user receives 30 free transcription minutes each month. Minutes renew every month, and unused minutes do not roll over.
• Unlimited subscription: Transcription with no minute cap. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Pay per use: You may buy transcription minutes without a subscription. Minutes previously purchased as credit remain available to you.
• Trial period: For paid services that offer a trial, the length of the trial is explained at signup. After that, continued service requires payment.
• Refunds: Subject to consumer rights granted by law that cannot be waived, all purchases are non-refundable. The company reserves the right, at its discretion, to issue refunds in exceptional cases of persistent technical failures.

C. Fair use of the Unlimited subscription

The Unlimited subscription is intended for reasonable, good-faith use by a single user. The company may limit, slow, or suspend an account whose use significantly exceeds ordinary use, that runs the service for third parties, or that harms the stability or quality of the service for other users. Where possible, the company will contact the user before taking action.

D. Referrals

Each registered user has a unique referral link. When someone signs up through that link and completes their first paid purchase, both people receive bonus transcription minutes (default: 60 minutes each). The bonus is granted only after the first paid purchase — not on signup alone. Bonus minutes do not expire.

There is no limit on the number of referrals. Self-referrals are not allowed (same account, email, payment method, or IP). QuickScribe reserves the right to revoke rewards from suspected fraudulent activity.
